LITERACY EXERCISES

These literacy style exercises allow you user to listen to a musical excerpt and drag and drop the selected answer to highlighted spots in the music and have been revised, edited and reformatted on the 24nd May 2010.

The purpose of these exercises is to emulate online, literacy tests within the NQ Higher exam.

Users should drag their considered answer to the correct spot.

After completing the test click on the 'Check answers" box". Wrong answers will return to the original spot allowing the user to try again.

ALWAYS DRAG A SYMBOL FROM THE CENTRE OF THE OBJECT

Be patient as it takes an attempt or two to become familiar with the technique to drag the symbols accurately.

This is a new quiz engine which is still undergoing some fine tuning. Please report any problems by using the feedback in the main navigation bar at the left of the screen.

Firefox users may experience some difficulty with the sound files. If this is the case please use these exercises in another browser e.g Safari(for Mac and PC), IE, Opera etc.

The exercises use Flash player. If you do not have the correct version necessary a message will appear on the screen with an automatic link to download the most recent version.
