Listening revision exercises

Welcome to some online listening revision exercises. All copyright materials in this web site are supported by a Joint Exploitation Licence from the Mechanical Copyright Society and Performing Rights Society Alliance, and from the PPL. Phonographic Performance Limited.

Comparison exercises are now available from Intermediate 1 through to Advanced Higher levels while gap fill exercises are available at Higher grade.

New literacy exercises are now under construction and should be completed by the end of March 2009.

To fully benefit from these materials students should have 'learned' the concepts before using the exercises. If in doubt use the 'Learn concepts' section before trying out the exercises.

PC users will gain the best results using Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox but may experience some screen formatting difficulties using Internet Explorer 6.

Mac users should find no difficulty using Safari or Firefox however the exercises will not work on the now out of date Internet Explorer 5.
